depiction: The original picture The Raft of Medusa is a painting of the french romantic Théodore Géricault. It shows a scene with a shipwreck of french sailors near the West African coast. The sailor’s dispair was so big that even cases of cannibalism emerged. Here is my allusion to this painting where the shipwrecked sailors are replaced with African refugees.
